French Boudoir Charity Project
This was a 10' x 10' room in a Catholic Church in Maryland. The original room had a single bed that was for the nuns to sleep on. There were 20 rooms the same size, etc. All designers were hand selected by the Meredith Corporation's Editor in Chief. We all were given a free hand as to what to do with this small room. I created this elegant boudoir using some of my furniture, drapes, accessories, etc. and was able to transform this little room to an elegant room of my own dreams! The charity then charged the public to see each of our rooms. This money went to the benefit of the Catholic Church. When finished, the walls were left the same, but all the furniture and accessories, including the drapes were removed. The nun who then slept in this room had only the walls to reflect back on this French Boudoir!
